This is my first blog-post! Hello, world! Advocate Aaron is here to publish my thoughts on how to TRANSFORM the healthcare system and put the rights back into the hands of the patient.
I am a Maternity Advocate. I have been advocating for uninsured pregnant women since 2001. In the past few years I have gained a vast perspective and knowledge base on our current healthcare system and I know how to navigate. I want to share some of this knowledge as well as create a dialogue on how we can help our fellow citizen, who cannot afford insurance. Heck, that’s about 40% of us, right?
My missions are:
To advocate for pregnant moms by providing funding, inspiration, education, empowerment and support as a means to optimal health and by ensuring that all women receive REAL healthcare answers that are logical and that they can understand.
To disrupt the current medical system and advocate for changes that will be integral to a systematic approach that can bring about positive transparent change in an ever complicated healthcare maze.
